What is Carbon Facials?
The Laser Carbon Facial, also known as the Hollywood Peel or Red Carpet Facial, is a gentle yet powerful treatment that deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and revitalises the skin. A layer of medical-grade carbon lotion is applied to the skin and then treated with an advanced Nd:YAG laser. The carbon absorbs oil, debris, and dead skin cells, while the laser energy breaks down impurities, stimulates collagen, and leaves the skin clearer, smoother, and more radiant.
THE PROCESS
What the Treatment Involves:
A thin layer of carbon lotion is applied to the skin, where it penetrates deep into pores. The Nd:YAG laser is then passed over the area — the carbon particles absorb the laser energy, gently vaporising impurities while stimulating the skin’s natural healing response. The result is a deep cleanse, mild resurfacing, and rejuvenation without the downtime of harsher treatments. The procedure is quick (usually 30–45 minutes) and often described as a mild tingling or warming sensation.
Sessions & Frequency
Many clients notice an instant glow after one session, but a course of 3–6 treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart, is recommended for longer-lasting results. Maintenance sessions every few months keep skin looking fresh.
Downtime & Aftercare
No downtime. Skin may appear slightly pink for a short time after treatment, but this usually settles within hours. You can return to normal activities straight away — it’s often called the lunchtime peel. Can also be used on neck, chest, and back.
