What is Vascular Lesion Removal?
Vascular lesions such as thread veins, spider veins, and rosacea are common skin concerns caused by tiny, visible blood vessels close to the skin’s surface. Laser vascular treatment with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) offers a safe, effective, and non-invasive solution to reduce these visible vessels and restore a clearer, more even complexion.
THE PROCESS
What the Treatment Involves:
A handheld IPL device delivers controlled pulses of light that are absorbed by the haemoglobin (the red pigment in blood). This heats and safely destroys the targeted blood vessels, which are then naturally reabsorbed by the body. Surrounding skin tissue remains unharmed. Thread veins, rosacea and spider veins all respond well to this treatment.
Sessions & Frequency
A course of 2–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended, depending on the size and number of vessels being treated. Many clients notice visible improvements after the first session.
Downtime & Aftercare
Minimal downtime. Treated areas may appear slightly red, swollen, or darker immediately after the session, but this usually subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. Normal activities can be resumed right away.
